Site Update 5.15.03-- Nightmares, haunting me!

I had this terrible nightmare last night. I dreamed that the Chinatown court approached me and demanded that I stop performing Fannie Wong. And they were going to hurt me! I remember one was burning with anger and looked like she was going to send one of her escorts after me.

It was scary! In my nightmare I screamed to them, "You can't stop me! This is satire, and I have a right to do this!"

Here I am as Fannie in a picture with the Miss Chinatown court. They are not in their costumes, they came by the postcard gallery show in Chinatown from a photoshoot they were doing. Look at the one next to me. She looks like she is going to kick my ass at any second.

By the way, my postcards are here. Along with other postcards of "inauthentic" authentic Chinatown. You can go to the New Chinatown Barbershop at 930 North Hill St. In LA's Chinatown to buy them. Also, you can paypal me $2 and I will send one to you from Fannie Wong. My paypal address is wongster@labridge.com. Specify when you paypal if there is someone I should address it to, or anything special you want Fannie to say on it.

Anyway, I want to retire Fannie but it's so much fun.

I have a show at the Taper tomorrow and Saturday. I heard it was sold out. What a trip. I am working hard on it. It's about doing extra work in LA. It's rough stuff man. It's hard to say things without talking people's ears off or talking down to them. I am trying to do more movement and less talking.

Here is a picture with Fannie and the kids. Fannie Wong loves the children.

This baby turned his head, but he has a big lipstick mark on his forehead that Fannie gave him. It took forever to wipe off.

Fannie Wong loves babies.

Here is Fannie with her long lost brother, Steve Wong. The mastermind behind the postcard project. We are by the postcard rack where you can buy his cards.

I realize I don't have very flattering pictures of myself on my site. Mostly because I am weary of putting pictures online that people can jack off to. But I gave into my narcisism (sp?) and here are two semi decent pics I took of myself wearing my new lipstick from MAC. The color matches the highlights in my hair.

So go ahead folks! Time to get off!

And if you are lucky, maybe I will put up more. Boo ya!

Ok back to work, I have a show tomorrow!

Love,

Kristina
