Ok, I know I am a lameass who blogs about why she hasn't blogged, but I just wanted to share that I am at the Starbucks in Los Feliz writing a grant due tomorrow and I looked up and saw this guy and was like, "I know him" and I almost waved.
But I didn't know him. He was just part of the TV world.
It was BJ Novak, the guy who plays "Ryan" on "The Office."
If I wasn't so paranoid about leaving my laptop unattended, I would have totally ran up to him and dry humped him.

This also happened when I saw Naima from ANTM in New York and was like, "Hey!" Even though, I don't know her personally. I just think I do.

I did that back in college at a rock show with the actors from that MTV comedy program The State. They were excited to have gotten recognized, since my double-take was pretty obvious.
I was in New Orleans in 1993 when I had my picture taken on my camera by a stranger in Jackson Square. The friend I was with subsequently told me it was the bloke who plays the mailman in Cheers (I had no idea - I think that was why he looked a little bit put out).

I saw a cast member from "The Office" at a Starbucks too! "Dwight Schrute." That voice is unmistakable. And I saw Takara from ANTM at the gym I go to one time a while back. And we were like totally working out at a machine next to eachother and I was all "aren't you Takara?" And we started talking like I knew her (cause I did!) and we were BFFs :-D
