3.13.06-- "They're all Going to Laugh At You."
Friends! Countrymen! Come check out my latest press photos from toshikophoto.com !
I just did an interview with 13 minutes Magazine, some of these pics should appear in their upcoming issue. Will let you know when it's out.

I'm so pleased with them. Thank you Diana for your awesome photography!!! I do recommend you book with Diana if you need photos. She's so down for whatever and really really affordable! Get her while you can! She gets booked fast! We totally trashed her apartment taking them. But it was so much fun.
If you saw my first solo show, "Miss Chinatown 2nd Runner Up" (which is much much more emotional and sublime than "Fannie Wong, Former Miss Chinatown 2nd Runner Up") you would know where the above images came from. The show was structurally and thematically derived from Stephen King's "Carrie" and the movie by Brian DePalma. I freaking adore that movie. It is the story of my life, minus the telekinesis.
See the resemblance below?
My issue of Playgirl is on the stands!
OK, true test of my fans! Who can go to the news stands and pick up this issue of Playgirl with a straight face? I am in two parts of the magazine. One part is my funny captions of "where do you put that?" sex toys and the other is my guest contribution to the "Sexplorer" advice column where I do everything from compare MLK Jr. to a OBGYN and tell women why long distance relationships suck. Basically, all sorts of stuff that should come back to haunt me in my activist career. But most likely, none of you will come after me about it because you are too chicken to pick up the issue and call me out on my shit.
My boyfriend is getting really annoyed with all the mail Playgirl has been sending me. In protest, he refused to help take pictures of me and the magazine for this web update. I had to stand in front of the mirror and do it myself with the help of the bathroom mirror. The pic on the left is me pointing to my beautiful face on the contributor page.
My girlfriends working there are so silly. They get all sorts of free samples of scary ass sex toys and so for laughs they mail me the funny stuff because they know how stressed I get working at home. At around 4pm the mail comes and I start screaming at gifts like this...
That's an anal tongue vibrator. It lights up and moves around all scary. When I opened the mail and pulled this out, my bf said, "Wow, life with you is getting more bizarre every day."
And can I blame my BF for being annoyed at the mail I get lately?
And this came today...
This is a "sleeve." One side is a mouth, the other is an anus. Blech. It feels gross and dust gets stuck to it. Can you imagine if women were made of cyberskin? I think only women dying of malaria have skin that feels like this. It's even more gross when you put your fingers in it. Does any woman have a vagina or mouth like this? If so, call Ripleys because you need to be in a museum! It came with lube and cyberskin cleaner. Yea--uch! Maybe the eyes and nose are in another box. Maybe the Playgirls will send me enough sex toy body parts through the mail to create a Frankenstein.
My BF got mad because I threw this sleeve thing at him when he was watching TV and it scared him. Then, I threatened to mail it to him at work if he didn't do the dishes. Then I started doing puppet shows with it and talking to him through the sleeve. He didn't think I was as funny as I thought I was and gave me the silent treatment.
This is so wrong.
Kristina in Philly this weekend!
I'm not performing as Fannie this weekend in Philly, but I hosted the ethnic studies conference last week as Fannie Wong. I was freaking hilarious if I do say so myself. I told jokes about Kevin Federline's myspace page giving me crabs and did kegels in front of everyone. These pictures are to hold your attention while I offer info about my show in Philly....
