9.23.04-- Back to life, Back to Reality...

Well, it's about 8am here in LA and I can't believe I lived and worked in Illinois for 10 straight days and lived to tell about it! And I only pronounced it "Illinoyse" twice in public. I think actually, three times.

It was a milestone visit for me as an artist. I don't ever think I have left home for so long. It was kind of a stressful trip. I lost a lot of hair. And now my skin has totally broken out. Last night I passed out asleep after coming home from work. Charles called while I was asleep and I was so groggy that I told him I was in Chicago. I insisted that I was in Chicago even though he was like, "What? I thought you came back already." I even peed in my own bathroom while on the phone with him and insisted that I was calling him from Chicago. I was pretty embarassed when I looked around and was like, "Oh wait, I'm not in Chicago."

For all the students that I met at UI Urbana Champaign, I miss you so much and here is the album from my visit there!

So... I have to go to work now, I am going to try to update this site with a more updated log with pictures of my exploits there in the next few days. Coming back to work yesterday after 10 days of being a star artist was so hard. It was like putting a really messy puzzle together. God, there's so much work to do at the office, it kills me. Quite literally. I spent a good two hours deleting spam for cheap Xanax.

Also, it's time for me to start collecting money for my AIDS Lifecycle ride in June 2005. I figured since I am trying to start raising money early, I might as well go for the gold and try to raise a cool $5000. It would be great, because it all goes to help people living with HIV/AIDS. I know I set a crazy ass goal, but I'm stubborn/ visionary like that and I figure if I can have over 500 friendsters, I can raise that kind of money. So won't you throw a dime or two in my direction? I promise to scream the name of everyone who can give a little something something to me as I ride along the CA Coast! Here is the link to my AIDS Lifecycle donation page!
